Shizuka Motoishi, 92, of Pepeekeo died Dec. 15 at Hale Anuenue Restorative Care Center. Born in Detroit, he was a technology business manager for The American Management Association in New York, an associate professor of anthropology, languages and African oral tradition at the University of Wisconsin and Yale University, and Fulbright lecturer and associate professor at the Federal University of Pernambuco, Recife, Brazil.
